Query Result Cache

Reduce database workload by serving repeated SELECT queries from the DataSunrise proxy cache.

What this product covers

Reduce database workload by serving repeated SELECT queries from the DataSunrise proxy cache.

Query Result Cache reuses results without database schema changes. Choose workloads that can tolerate a defined freshness window.

01

Control Cache Lifetime and Capacity

Configure caching per database instance through Actions > Result Cache Settings. Set memory and entry limits, lifetime in seconds, maximum result size, and maximum query length.

02

Make Data Freshness Explicit

Database changes do not automatically invalidate cached results. Entries remain until expiry, eviction, or manual clearing. Use a shorter lifetime where freshness matters.

03

Monitor Cache Performance

Open Monitoring > Performance > Result Cache Rate to review hits, misses, entries, and evictions, or clear the cache.
